FRONT RANGE STOP GUIDE · SOURCE REVIEW, OCTOBER 1, 2026

Choose the break.
Then check the charger.

A useful charging stop gives you a reason to park as well as a place to plug in. These three destinations have different things to offer while you’re there.

Start with the connection and access rules on the station page. Then consider what you need from the stop. The notes below come from official venue websites; they are not on-site inspections. Indoor facilities have their own opening hours.

What is actually documented?

On-site amenities are at the charging destination. Nearby amenities are a separate place to reach. Check each amenity’s own hours and access.
A nearby amenity is not an on-site facility. This distinction matters in the examples below.

Colorado Mills: a meal or an errand

The mall documents a Dining Pavilion, shops and indoor restrooms. Its EV charging directions point to the northeast side near the garage and Yard House. A separate Tesla installation is northwest of the garage, so follow the signs for your selected network. Colorado Mills venue information.

Check indoor opening hours before relying on food or restrooms. The mall’s parking information does not establish the charging price, and this guide does not verify the walking route between a particular bay and the entrance.

REI Denver: browse outdoor gear

REI’s flagship at 1416 Platte Street offers outdoor-gear shopping and bike services at the charging destination. The store lists Monday–Saturday hours of 9 a.m.–9 p.m. and Sunday hours of 9 a.m.–7 p.m. Those are store hours, not charging hours. REI Denver store information.

Choose this stop when a shopping break fits your plans. We have not verified food, seating or restroom access here, so those remain unknown in the directory.

Golden: get your bearings downtown

The Welcome Center at 1010 Washington Avenue offers visitor information. Its published winter schedule is Monday–Saturday, 10 a.m.–4 p.m., from October through May; June through September it lists daily hours of 9 a.m.–5 p.m. Welcome Center information.

Visit Golden separately lists public restrooms at Parfet Park, 701 10th Street, with unlocked hours of 7 a.m.–10 p.m. daily. These are nearby, not at the charging bays. A walking route and distance have not been verified. Golden visitor information.

Leave room for a different plan

A listed operational charger may be occupied or temporarily out of service. Check the network’s current information and the alternatives on each stop page. This guide does not estimate charging time or guarantee an available port.
